Like a memory, hazy around the edges with smudges & blurs of colour from a summer moment gone by.

My daughters found a Wisteria Tree at Kingston Lacy National Trust last summer, it was in full bloom and they played under the canopy of flowers. This painting is a culmination of fond memories.

Fun fact: This shade of green was considered so relaxing that it was used to paint the interiors of RAF Aircrafts, also known as “Cockpit Green”

Layered brush stokes the create the depth of a tree as the sunlight streams between the branches. Hues of green and yellow combined with dashes of gold leaf that drip down the canvas.
